Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s character is diagnosed with a rare cancer that turned his life upside down but this harsh situation made his friendship with Seth Rogen’s character (his best friend) stronger. And as his girl friend cheats on him, his best friends is there to offer a shoulder to cry on.

One thing that makes a movie scary is the appearance of reality. If you see a movie that looks like it could be real or is said to be based on real events, it’s a lot more frightening. You can easily imagine yourself in the situation and you wonder what you would do if you encountered the supernatural forces that are wreaking havoc in the movie. The Blair Witch Project is an example of a realistic horror film. Some people would count it among the best horror movies ever made. The film was a sensation when it came out because it was so different from anything that had appeared on the big screen. The hand-held videography was disturbing and occasionally nauseating, and the sense of impending doom that the viewer experienced was scarier than any big movie effects.
