Miele Pisces Vacuum is Good for Hardwood and Carpet

I have been looking for a vacuum cleaner that would clean my hardwood floors and my area rugs. When I purchased my house, I took all the carpet out since it is easier for allergens to trap in the carpets. Plus, previous owner’s allergens and dust has been trapped in the carpets for who knows how many years. So, I pulled all of the carpets up and had someone come in to install hardwood floors. In the winter, the floors can become cold so I use area rugs to combat the cold floors. I regularly sweep and mop my hardwood floors but this can be a pain to do. I need a vacuum that will do both hardwood floors and area rugs. I decided to purchase the Miele Pisces canister vacuum. This is supposed to vacuum both hardwood and carpet and has a built-in allergen filter. Plus, when I purchased it the company donated $30 dollars to a charity.
